To Worship…

Do you close your eyes?
Do you raise your hands?
Do you feel a chill?
Do you fall on your face?

To worship?

or
do you love the unlovely
do you help the helpless
do you lift the lowly
do you hold the hurting.

what do you worship?

So many worship the sensation of feeling good….
and so few actually make the sacrifices necessary to actually commune with God

those that praise God with their mouths yet their heart is far from him.

To Worship….

what do you do ?

    I worship in two ways:

    1st – Since I can’t carry a tune I worship by sing a joyful noise with my eyes closed and my heart lifted up.

    2nd – I worship by serving the lowly, the addicted, the helpless and the hurting.

    To me both are an act of worship but in both we need to check our motive. Why do we serve and why do we raise our hands. Is it to worship the Lord and King or is it for show.

    Both are a matter of the heart.

    I roll out of bed and hit my knees! Want to start the day out being grateful first thing. During the day I think of Him and have conversation with Him! He knows my heart. I start with “God, I offer myself to Thee-to build with me and to do with me as thou wilt” I try to make myself available to help others.
