Does the box you put God in have a steeple?

Isn’t it just odd that while christians say that God is everywhere that they actually believe that he cares more what they do inside a church building than out?

I believe that even today we would rather watch what God is doing and attempt to make a golden calf to objectify him because it is much more comfortable to believe that we can choose when to show up and leave the “presence of God”

This crosses into our entire world view. At what point do we stop forming God into any type of image and just take him as he is… unfathomable! I have recently seen Advertisements saying “rethink church”  the whole construct of  worship, prayer, preaching, political views, order of worship has been so drilled into our brains that we can’t even rethink church anymore.  all we can do is repackage it for people to say “hey this is new!” when it isn’t new… its the same old song and dance… in a different order, with different labels, and a new translation.  I suggest… stop having church and rethink life for a change. Take God out of his box and bring him with you everywhere don’t apologize for who you are, just let him make you better by always being there. Maybe you will begin to realize what you have been missing in your life was God… out of the box!
